The Community Voices for Health Blog brought home a gold award for blogs at the 2024 Lamplighter Awards ceremony, which is hosted annually by the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NEHSCo).
NESHCo’s Annual Lamplighter Awards recognizes outstanding achievements in healthcare communications across New England. With several major awards and hundreds of entries each year, the Lamplighters honor the finest healthcare communications work produced across all six New England states.
Focused on Signature Healthcare’s mission of improving the health and wellness of the communities it serves, the Community Voices Blog helps extend that mission beyond the hospital’s walls by including community partners that share in the goal of creating a healthier, more vibrant community. It’s designed to provide access to local resources and health information that readers can easily act on, helping to encourage healthy lifestyles throughout the greater Brockton area.
From its launch on Jan. 6, 2023, through June 2024, the new blog has seen 73 posts and well over 12,000 visitors. We consider this a great success for the 18 months of Community Voices for Health.
