Hi there!  My name is Robin and I am so excited to have been chosen as one of the Signature Mom bloggers.  Since this is my first post here, I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.

If you happened to read my original contest submission, you already know a little bit about me, but in case you didn’t get a chance to check it out, here’s everything you need to know.  First and foremost, I am the mom of three boys.  Being a mom is the absolutely the best things that’s ever happened to me and I am blessed to have them in my life.  I have a three year old and six year old of my own and when I got re-married last October, I gained a bonus son, who’s 13 going on 14 next month.  My 13 year old is currently in 8^th grade, my six year old is in 1^st grade and my three year old goes to preschool 2 mornings a week.

I am divorced from my kids father, but he is still a very big part of their lives, which I am very thankful for.  I know that situation could have gone in a completely different direction and I feel so fortunate that it didn’t.  I truly feel like I won the lottery when I met and married my second husband. He is a terrific step-father to my children and a better husband than I ever could have imagined.  We were married in Las Vegas on 10/10/10….so he’d better never forget our anniversary!

In addition to working from home full time, I am active in my local PTA as well as participating as much as possible with my six year old sons Cub Scout Pack.  I enjoy volunteering my time at the schools and truly love introducing my children to as many new experiences as I possibly can.   Part of those new experiences come with traveling, and my family and I travel several times a year.  This year we’ll be heading to New York City, New Hampshire, and Maine.   Here’s a picture of all of us that was taken on a recent trip to Disney world:

As for personal interests, I am an amateur photographer, a huge Disney fan, an Amazing Race fanatic and a scrapbooker.  I take hundreds upon hundreds of photos and carefully select my favorites and create scrapbooks full of our memories……when I can find the time that is.

I found out about the contest to become a contributor to Signature Moms through Twitter.  As soon as I read about it, I headed right over to Signature Healthcare’s Facebook page to enter the contest!  I was thrilled to get a chance to get more involved with my community.  As a work at home mom, most of the people I connect with are other moms online, but few of them are from this area.  Don’t get me wrong, I have “met” some amazing people online, but since I have very little face-to-face interaction, I was excited at the opportunity to connect with other local moms.

I love being able to share my stories and personal experience with everyone.  I am very excited to share in this new adventure with the other seven Signature Moms and I am looking forward to hearing their stories and learning as much as I can from them!
