Summer days can be hectic- especially when the kids are home from school! Break free from your routine and take your family to one of these great June activities. Whether you’re close to Brockton or Pembroke, we have events that will surely be fun for the whole family.
1. Kids Road Race
Let your kids have fun while they exercise! On Saturday, June 21st, take your family to a short fun run at D.W. Field Park in Brockton. They’ll get a great workout and may even expend all their energy! Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the “race” begins at 10 a.m. Ribbons will be awarded each week to the top 3 runners in each age group.

2. Brockton Arts Poetry Series at artKitchen Café
On Saturday, June 21st, the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton is hosting a poetry experience from 12:00- 4:30 pm. Whether you want to perform poetry or listen to others, the event will surely be entertaining and exciting. The first segment starts at noon and will consist of a poetry workshop.

3. Shoe City Summer Solstice
– Come out to Arnone Field in Brockton on Saturday, June 21st, from 2-6 pm to enjoy free food, games, and arts and crafts with the Show City Summer Solstice. This event will be great for the entire family!

4. Children’s Storytime
Looking for ways to encourage your child to read? On Monday, June 23rd, Pembroke Public Library will be hosting an outdoor story time from 10:30-11:15 am. The theme is “Beach Day,” so be sure to bring a towel to enjoy the outdoor event. No registration is required. Open to children two years and up.

5. Kid’s Day
Want to get in touch with your inner child? On Saturday, June 28th from 10-2, bring your family to Kid’s Day at Stoughton High School in Brockton. You and your family will create lasting memories while having a great time!
