by Maria Almeida, Program Coordinator with Greater Brockton Healthy Families
Healthy Families was proud to recently host an exciting “Boo at the Zoo” event, bringing together over 23 families for a day filled with adventure, learning, and connection.
Families reported having a wonderful time exploring the zoo, participating in festive activities, and creating unforgettable memories with their children. Many shared that the event helped them not only bond with their child in a fun and engaging setting outside the home, but also connect with other families in the community.
The experience was truly amazing and showcased the importance of hands-on learning, exploration, and play in supporting child development.
Healthy Families is honored to provide opportunities like this that empower parents to engage with their children in meaningful ways, discover new teaching moments through real-life experiences, and strengthen their sense of community. We look forward to creating more adventures that inspire joy, connection, and growth for the families we serve.
