In fact, a quick glance through all the posts I’ve shared here at Signature Moms testifies how much I appreciate the great outdoors and hope that others come to enjoy time outside together, too. Seriously, when I was browsing through my old posts the other day, I realized that the majority of them focus on the great outdoors and include tips, links, and ideas for:
- enjoying time at playgrounds
- going on Passport Hikes
- chasing outdoor freedom
- witnessing the herring run
- learning and playing throughout the spring
- savoring the simplicity of springtime
- baking up fun in mud kitchens
- playing in the rain
- becoming a Canal Kid
- basking at local beaches
- experimenting in the summertime
- dancing and having picnic dinners by the sea
- splashing at Freetown State Forest’s wading pool
- checking things off Summer Bucket Lists
- stretching summer
- taking in local historical monuments
- adventuring in the autumn
- taking in free autumn adventures
- making ornaments for animals
- going on wacky, winter adventures
- relishing snow
- stepping outside in cold weather
- getting in sensory fun in the snow
- partaking in four seasons of fun locally
And, today, you’ll discover one more handy bit of outdoor adventuring news:

Mass Audubon is celebrating 100 years of Wildlife Sanctuaries and, as a part of their 100th Day Celebration, they are opening up sanctuaries all over the state on April 9 for FREE! At some locations, there will simply be free admission, while at others there will be full days of family programing. So, be sure to check for a happening near you next weekend and get outside to celebrate spring with Mass Audubon.
