Valentine’s Day

By:  Kristen Clifford

Since Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching I thought I’d share with you some of the Valentine’s day ideas I plan on doing with the kids.  Although I’m sure in actuality I’ll be lucky to do one or two of them, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

Valentine’s Day Cards
I’m am just loving all the different Valentine’s Day card ideas out there!

How cute would these be for the teachers!

Food
If you’re like me, then you obviously need to spend more time making your children’s food look cute, then they will eating it. Hoosier Homemade has lots of great food ideas that will have your kids oohing and aahing.

And what holiday is complete with out some yummy rice krispie treats!

Crafts
I also think these crayon hearts from Martha Stewart are pretty cute!

  1. Your post makes me want to do so much more than life will allow for right now. I have to remind myself that simple is best this year and just stick to a few of our developing V-day traditions: reading certain books over a St Valentine breakfast “tea” with heart-shaped pancakes. But, the fun ideas you shared will be good for future years. Thannks

  2. Those are some cute ideas! I made those pencils for our “back to school” party this year. They were pretty simple and the kids loved them! Last year I made each member of our family really simple bags out of felt. I am going to put some really small treats or sayings in each one this year. Just a little something to make the day fun!
